For over 15 years, the reliable protection against rats for mooring lines: "Better safe than sorry!"
Rats and other vermin can walk on mooring lines and even swim up the anchor chain to get on the boat. Any food on board will attract these unwanted and harmful animals.
The Protection consists of a PVC disc and a double sealing collar for the mooring line. Installation is quick and easy: once moored, insert the rubber collar on the rope and fix the disk above it: in this way the diameter of the disk will not allow mice to climb on board. The disk is rotatable, it has a small footprint once on board.
How it works: When a rat encounters the disc and tries to jump over it, the disc starts to spin and the animal falls into the water. No animal will be hurt.
Three models are available: the largest one is usually used in commercial shipping or for superyachts.
The rat guard is supplied with collars of different sizes to fit various diameters of top. With 6 small screws the rubber collar can be easily replaced.
Also successfully used on electrical or telephone cables to protect homes from rats, squirrels, dormice, etc.
